Dr. Hamijo is a renegade Cipanki scientist and the former pupil of Dr. Sasaya before being expelled from Nanto Labs. After having disappeared for some time, he is now working for Clan Belsoto as a Captain.[1]
Appearance[edit]
Dr. Hamijo has short blonde (possibly dyed due to other facial hair being black) hair with a long tip in the center, and a stubby black beard. He wears red glasses with teal-colored lenses, and a black button-down shirt, teal pants, and a white lab coat.
Personality[edit]
Dr. Hamijo is a genius with questionable ethics that wants to create the perfect Digital Temtem slave. [2] He has a cold and calculating demeanor and is not shown to lose his composure easily. He is numb to any suffering caused by his actions, such as the pain inflicted on his test subject Anahir, or the danger posed to Omninesia by destabilizing Anak. He firmly believes that his path of unimpeded scientific progress is in the best interest of humanity, no matter the cost.
Dr. Hamijo is currently only encountered in Anak Volcano. The player witnesses him performing inhumane experiments on an Anahir with the help of the other Belsoto scientists. After defeating him in battle, he and the other Belsoto retreat, and the player rescues and obtains the Anahir he was experimenting upon.

- When the player defeats Max in Arissola, Max says that "He" said "[they] wouldn't lose with a Digital Temtem," but doesn't specify who. Given that Max and Hamijo are the only tamers in Alpha 0.6.19 to use a Digital Temtem, and that the two of them share a large portion of their team (both using Gazuma, Saipat, and Zaobian), it is possible that Dr. Hamijo is the mysterious Tamer that gave Max their Oree.
