Kinu (#137) is a Nature /Mental Temtem.
It does not evolve into or from any other Temtem.

Description[edit]

Physical Appearance[edit]

Kinu is a small green humanoid Temtem with large blue eyes, a lime green mouth, and three dark green stripes on top of its head. It has two dark green "horns" with lime green bases, and two drooping "ears" connected to a lime green antenna-like pattern. Kinu has a small dark green and lime collar, with a long, dark green, red-tipped cape. Its arms each have four pale blue fingers, and its legs taper down to tiny purple feet. On its knees and lime belly, Kinu has a spiral pattern.

Tempedia[edit]

The elusive Kinu are some of the rarest Nature Temtem in the Myrisles - to the point that some tamers think they're a mere legend. When they do show up, Omninesians treat them with the respect reserved for the guardian spirits of the Banyan.

Trivia[edit]

  • Kinu is shown on the thumbnail of the Kickstarter trailer.[1]
  • It is also on the Kickstarter exclusive painted statue alongside a Temtem Tamer.[2]
  • Kinu seems to be inspired by the dryads of Greek mythology: shy and elusive feminine nature sprits that had a strong connection to trees.
  • Kinu has an emote on the official Temtem Discord.

Names[edit]

  • Kinu's name is derived from Kinushi (Forest Spirits in Japanese culture, specifically on Okinawa).
