Template-info.png Documentation

This template is used to show how much any Temtem resists or is weak to any of the 12 types based on its own typing.

This template uses four parameters:

  • type1 - The Temtems primary type. You MUST input a type in this field.
  • type2 - The Temtems secondary type. Only input this if it has one.
  • trait1 - The Temtems first trait. Optional field, see below on when it is relevant. Make sure to capitalize first letters ("Electric Synthesize" and not "electric synthesize", without quotations).
  • trait2 - The Temtems second trait. Optional field, make sure to capitalize like trait1.

Example 1[edit]

When inputting only type1, the table shows how much damage each type of attack deals to that type.

{{Type table
| type1 = Mental
}}

Types that Mental resists show numbers lower than 1 and are indicated by yellow/red backgrounds, meaning their damage to mental types is reduced.
Types that are strong against Mental show numbers higher than 1 and are indicated by green backgrounds, such as Electric and Crystal.
All other types deal normal damage to Mental, so their slots show blank - signs.

Example 2[edit]

When using the template for Temtem with two types, the table will automatically calculate and output the matchups in case both types have a weakness or resistance to the same type.

{{Type table
| type1 = Fire
| type2 = Crystal
}}

Fire and Crystal are both individually weak to Earth type attacks. Because this Temtem is both, Earth damage is even further increased to x4.

Example 3[edit]

Sometimes a Temtem will have one or two traits that affect the damage it takes from specific types. It is advisable to check with the Traits page to understand if you need to take traits into consideration.
If a Temtem has such a trait, it is important to fill both trait1 and trait2, making the table produce two rows instead of one. This shows the difference in matchups between both traits.

{{Type table
| type1 = Nature
| type2 = Crystal
| trait1 = Botanophobia
| trait2 = Electric Synthesize
}}

Nature types resist nature attacks, however with Botanophobia this Temtem would take normal nature damage.
Meanwhile with Electric Synthesize this Temtem is immune to Electric attacks, so it takes 0 damage.
