Ukama (#089) is a Water Temtem.
It evolves from Umishi after 14 levels and is the final evolution of it.

Description

Physical Appearance

Ukama is an aquatic blue Temtem. It has large turquoise eyes and a pointed mouth with small jowls on the underside of its face. Two small fins protrude outwards from each side of its face, and a pair of much larger fins curl up and back from the top of its head like horns, with wavy purple membranes along the underside. A series of dark blue triangular spines run along the top and back of its head. Ukama's lower jaw and underbelly are a very pale lilac that makes an undulating wave pattern against the rest of its blue body. It has two long, tapering pectoral fins that act as arms, and a pale lilac anal fin underneath its body. The base of Ukama's tail is small and stubby below its body, and long and tapering above its body, curling back towards its head. More wavy purple fin-like membranes run along the top of Ukama's back and along the back side of its tail.

Tempedia

Ukama, also known in Turquesa as "sea-sickles", are one of the fastest waterborne Temtem. They can easily outrun the sleekest sailboat, even swimming against the Sillaro current, so tamers have to use charm and guile to approach them.

Trivia

• During alpha testing, Ukama was known for a bug in the first phase that hard-locked tamers in battle sequences with it. This bug was fixed after a bit of difficulty.
• Ukama Lover, an NPC in the residential area of Mokupuni, wants to trade his Taifu for a Ukama.
  • The Taifu traded has the same Gender, Level, SVs and remaining Fertility.

Name Origin

• Ukama's name is derived from Umi (Sea in Japanese) and Kama (Sickle in Japanese).
  • Ukama's name was suggested by YamaXenuz#8049 of the Temtem Discord in the Temtem naming suggestion poll from September 24 2018.
