Mushook uses Virulent Gust against Gyalis (triggering the latter's Mirroring Trait) while Hazrat uses Harmful Lick against Gyalis (which does not trigger that Trait).
  2. On turn two, you are required to use Oceara's Blizzard (triggering its Hand Fan) against Mushook and Gyalis' Crystal Bite. Mushook uses Nibble against Gyalis while Hazrat uses Lava Wave against Gyalis (triggering the latter's Pansunscreen).
  3. On turn three, you are required to use Oceara's Ice Shuriken against Mushook (which will apply Cold) and Gyalis' Hook Kick. Hazrat uses Embers against Oceara while Mushook uses Toxic Spores against Oceara.
  4. On turn four, you are required to use Oceara'a Ice Shuriken against Mushook (which will upgrade it from Cold to Frozen) and Gyalis' Antitoxins against your Oceara (which will replace its Poisoned with Invigorated). Mushook will be unable to move and Hazrat will use Psychosis against Oceara.
  5. On subsequent turns you can practise any Technique of your choice. Mushook will use Virulent Gust against Oceara while Hazrat will use Lava Wave against Gyalis. You should therefore try to take out Hazrat first as Oceara is Doomed anyway.

During the pick-and-ban phase, you are required to ban Platimous, and ??? will ban your Hedgine. You are then required to pick Valash, and ??? will pick Magmut and Saipat. You are then free to complete the battle in any way you wish. Note that ??? will ban Nessla, unless you pick it first, in which case it will ban Ganki. On the first turn Saipat may try to use Wrenching Massage and Magmut may try to use Fiery Soul, both against Valash, but this depends on whom you partner Valash with as the AI may be tempted to switch.
