This template is used to add a specialized infobox for traits to give readers an general idea of the Trait.

Parameters[edit]

All values should be entered with the "First Letter Of Each Word Capitalized" format.

name
Optional. Self explanatory. When not used, automatically takes the page-name.
description
The in-game description of the Trait. Anytime a Type appears in here, use the Type Template with a size of 18 to make it look similar to in-game. Anytime a Stat change appears here; if it's a +1 or -1, use the Statchange Template with a size of 13; if it's a +2 or -2, use the Statchange Template with a size of 11; to make it look similar to in-game. If left black will only show a "?".
impact
The overall effect of the trait in a helpful or unhelpful way.
  • Positive
    • The trait is exclusively beneficial to the holder and ally.
  • Negative
    • The trait is exclusively detrimental to the holder and/or.
  • Varied
    • The trait has both positive and negative effects for the holder and/or ally.
trigger
The specific events that cause the Trait to take effect. All these Triggers are in relation to the holder, so if the holder delt damage, the holder takes damage, etc. Future updates may require the addition of new Triggers or combinations of existing Triggers in the template code. Currently, these are the Triggers that are being used with an example for each:
  • Ally Battlefield Entry + Not Yet Triggered (Battle)
    • Trait takes effect when the holder's ally enters the battlefield and the Trait hasn't taken effect yet during the battle. Ex:Welcomer
  • Ally Knocked-out
  • Ally Resting
  • Battlefield Entry
    • Trait takes effect when the holder enters the battlefield. Ex: Demoralize
  • Battlefield Entry & Status Condition Present on Ally / Status Condition Applied
    • Trait takes effect when the holder enters the battlefield and their ally has a certain Status Condition or when a certain Status Condition would be applied to the holder or their ally. Ex: Sentinel
  • Battlefield Entry + Not Yet Triggered (Battle)
    • Trait takes effect when the holder enters the battlefield and the Trait hasn't taken effect yet during the battle. Ex: Autotomy
  • Battlefield Presence
    • Trait takes effect while the holder is on the battlefield. Ex: Settling
  • Battlefield Presence + Not Yet Triggered (Battle)
    • Trait takes effect while the holder is on the battlefield and the Trait hasn't taken effect yet during the battle. Ex: Rested
  • Battlefield Presence of Ally & Relation to Ally + Not Yet Triggered (Battle)
    • Trait takes effect while there is an ally on the field, the relation between the holder/Trait and their ally and hasn't taken effect yet during battle. Ex: Fast Charge
  • Consecutive Technique Damage Taken
    • Trait takes effect if the holder would take damage from a second Technique during the same turn. Ex: Shared Pain
  • Consecutive Technique Damage Taken by Ally
    • Trait takes effect if the holder's ally would take damage from a second Technique during the same turn. Ex: Good Friend
  • Current HP
    • Trait takes effect based on how much HP the holder currently has. Ex: Plethoric
  • Current HP & Battlefield Entry + Not Yet Triggered (Battle)
    • Trait takes effect based on how much HP the holder currently has, when the holder enters the battlefield and hasn't taken effect yet during the battle. Ex: Half Full
  • Current HP & Technique Damage Taken + Not Yet Triggered (Battle)
    • Trait takes effect based on how much HP the holder currently has, when the holder takes damage from a Technique and hasn't taken effect yet during the battle. Ex: Trance
  • Current HP & Technique Taken
    • Trait takes effect based on how much HP the holder currently has and when the holder would be affected by a Technique. Ex: Puppet Master
  • Current HP + Not Yet Triggered (Battle)
    • Trait takes effect based on how much HP the holder currently has and hasn't taken effect yet during the battle. Ex: Energy Reserves
  • Effective Damage Dealt
    • Trait takes effect when the holder uses a Technique that is deals at least Effective damage to the target. Ex: Confident
  • Effective Damage Taken
    • Trait takes effect when the holder would be hit by a Technique that deals at least Effective damage to them. Ex: Effective Denial
  • Knocked-out & Has Positive Stat Stage Change
  • Negative Stat Stage Change
    • Trait takes effect when the holder would be inflicted with negative Stat Stage Changes. Ex: Determined
  • No Rival Techniques Taken
    • Trait takes effect if the holder is unaffected by rival Techniques for one turn. Ex: Unnoticed
  • Overexerting
  • Overexertion Knock-out + Not Yet Triggered (Battle)
    • Trait takes effect when the holder knocks themselves out due to Overexertion and hasn't taken effect yet during the battle. Ex: Resilient
  • Relation to Ally
    • Trait takes effect based on the holder's/Trait's relation to their ally. Ex: Synertyper
  • Resting
  • Rival or Ally Knocked-out
    • Trait takes effect when the holder's ally or a rival is knocked-out. Ex: Scavenger
  • Rival Resting
  • Rival Status Condition Present
    • Trait takes effect when a rival has a certain Status Condition. Ex: Infectious
  • Rival Switching Out
    • Trait takes effect when a rival switches off the battlefield. Ex: Contagious
  • Self Knock-out
  • Squad Numbers
    • Trait takes effect based on the number of conscious combatants in the holder's and rival's squads. Ex: Last Rush
  • Stat Stage Change Applied to Any Combatant
    • Trait takes effect when a Stat Stage Change would be applied to any combatant on the battlefield. Ex: Short Circuit
  • Status Condition Applied
    • Trait takes effect when the holder would be given one or more specific Status Conditions. Ex: Neutrality
  • Status Condition Applied to Ally
    • Trait takes effect when the holder's ally would have one or more specific Status Conditions applied to them. Ex: Target Replicator
  • Status Condition Applied to Ally / Stat Stage Change Applied to Ally
    • Trait takes effect when one or more specific Status Conditions would be applied to the holder's or when a Stat Stage Change would be applied to the holder's ally. Ex: Guardian
  • Status Condition Present & Knocked-out Target
    • Trait takes effect when one or more specific Status Conditions is affecting the holder and the holder knocks-out a target with a Technique. Ex: Self-Esteem
  • Status Condition Present & Turn Start
    • Trait takes effect when one or more specific Status Conditions is affecting the holder and it's the start of a turn. Ex: Power Nap
  • Status Condition Self-applied
    • Trait takes effect when the holder applies one or more specific Status Conditions to themselves. Ex: Confined
  • Switching Out / Rival Battlefield Entry
    • Trait takes effect when the holder exits the battlefield or when a rival enters the battlefield. Ex: Rusher
  • Synergies
    • Trait takes effect when the holder or their ally would use a Technique with a Synergy. Ex: Synergy Master
  • Synergy Technique Used by Ally
    • Trait takes effect when the holder's ally uses a Technique with a Synergy. Ex: Superconductivity
  • Target Knocked-out
    • Trait takes effect when the holder knocks-out a target with a Technique. Ex: Prideful
  • Target Status Condition Applied / Present
    • Trait takes effect when the holder hits a target that has one or more specific Status Conditions or when the holder applies one or more specific Status Conditions to a target. Ex: Cobweb
  • Target Status Condition Present
    • Trait takes effect when the holder hits a target that has one or more specific Status Conditions. Ex: Soft Touch
  • Target Type
    • Trait takes effect when the holder hits a target that is at least part of one or more specific Type. Ex: Toxin Crusher
  • Targeting Ally
    • Trait takes effect when the holder would be targeting their ally with a Technique. Ex: Individualist
  • Technique Taken + Not Yet Triggered (Battle)
    • Trait takes effect when the holder is hit with Technique and and hasn't taken effect yet during the battle. Ex: Adaptive
  • Technique Class Taken
    • Trait takes effect when the holder is hit with a Technique that is a specific Class. Ex: Mirroring
  • Technique Class Taken & Status Condition Applied
    • Trait takes effect when the holder is hit with a Technique that is a specific Class and one or more specific Status Conditions would be applied to the holder. Ex: Splitter
  • Technique Class Taken + Not Yet Triggered (Turn)
    • Trait takes effect when the holder is hit with a Technique that is a specific Class and hasn't taken effect yet during the current Turn. Ex: Callosity
  • Technique Class Used
    • Trait takes effect when the holder uses a Technique of a specific Class. Ex: Brawny
  • Technique Class Used & Multiple Rivals
    • Trait takes effect when the holder uses a Technique of a specific Class and there is more than 1 rival on the battlefield. Ex: Spreader
  • Technique Damage Dealt
    • Trait takes effect when the holder uses a technique that deals damage. Ex: Efficient
  • Technique Damage Dealt to Ally
    • Trait takes effect when the holder deals damage with a Technique to their ally. Ex: Voodoo
  • Technique Damage Taken
    • Trait takes effect when the holder takes damage from a Technique. Ex: Kinetic Transfer
  • Technique Damage Taken & Knocked-out
    • Trait takes effect when the holder takes damage from a Technique and the holder is knocked-out. Ex: Heat Discharge
  • Technique Damage Taken & Knocked-out / Self Knock-out
    • Trait takes effect when the holder takes damage from a Technique and the holder is knocked-out or if the holder is Self knocked-out. Ex: Wrecked Farewell
  • Technique Damage Taken & Relation to Ally
    • Trait takes effect when the holder takes damage from a Technique and based on the holder's/Trait's relation to their ally. Ex: Camaraderie
  • Technique Damage Taken & Technique Targeting Taken
    • Trait takes effect when the holder takes damage from a Technique and the holder is hit with a Technique a specific kind of Targeting. Ex: Voltaic Charge
  • Technique Damage Taken by Ally
    • Trait takes effect when the holder's ally takes damage from a Technique. Ex: Benefactor
  • Technique Damage Taken from Ally
    • Trait takes effect when the holder takes damage from a Technique from the holder's ally. Ex: Friendship
  • Technique Damage Taken from Rival
    • Trait takes effect when the holder takes damage from a Technique from a rival. Ex: Comebacker
  • Technique Priority Used
    • Trait takes effect when the holder uses a Technique with a specific Priority value. Ex: Gotta Go Fast
  • Technique Targeting Taken
    • Trait takes effect when the holder is hit with a Technique a specific kind of Targeting. Ex: Team Elusive
  • Technique Targeting Used
    • Trait takes effect when the holder uses a Technique with a specific kind of Targeting. Ex: Spoilsport
  • Technique Type Taken
    • Trait takes effect when the holder is hit with a Technique that is a specific Type. Ex: Hover
  • Technique Type Taken / Status Condition Applied
    • Trait takes effect when the holder is hit with a Technique that is a specific Type or whne the holder would be given one or more specific Status Conditions. Ex: Mucous
  • Technique Type Taken by Ally
    • Trait takes effect when the holder's ally would be hit by a Tecfnique that is a specific Type. Ex: Electric Custodian
  • Technique Type Used
    • Trait takes effect when the holder uses a Technique of a specific Type. Ex: Pyromaniac
  • Technique Type Used by Any Combatant
    • Trait takes effect when any combatant on the battlefield uses a Technique of a specific Type. Ex: Inductor
  • Technique Used
    • Trait takes effect when the holder uses a Technique. Ex: Marathonist
  • Technique Used & Overexertion Knock-out
    • Trait takes effect when the holder uses a Technique and the holder knocks themselves out due to Overexertion. Ex: Seppuku
  • Technique With Hold Used
    • Trait takes effect when the holder uses a Technique that has a Hold value. Ex: Tactical Strike
  • Turn Start
    • Trait takes effect at the start of a new turn. Ex: Royal Jelly
  • Turn Start & Current HP
    • Trait takes effect at the start of a new turn and based on how much HP the holder currently has. Ex: Final Stand

  • Damage Dealt Increased
    • Trait causes a combatant to deal more damage. Ex: Botanist
  • Damage Inflicted
    • Trait causes direct damage being delt to a combatant. Ex: Voodoo
  • Damage Taken Decreased
    • Trait causes a combatant to take less damage. Ex: Book Lungs
  • Damage Taken Decreased / Status Condition Prevented
    • Trait causes a combatant to take less damage and/or a combatant won't be given a Status Condition. Ex: Mucous
  • Damage Taken Prevented
    • Trait causes a combatant to take no damage. Ex: Friendship
  • Damage Taken Prevented / Status Condition Prevented
    • Trait causes a combatant to take no damage and/or a combatant won't be given a Status Condition. Ex: Immunity
  • Damage Taken Raised
  • Gear Disabled
  • Hold Decreased
    • Trait causes a combatant to reduce the Hold of all their Techniques. Ex: Hurry-wart
  • HP Reduced
    • Trait causes a combatant to have their HP be reduced by a certain percentage of their maximum HP. Ex: Fainted Curse
  • HP Restored
    • Trait causes a combatant to have their HP be restored by a certain percentage of their maximum HP. Ex: Relaxed
  • HP Restored / Status Condition Removed
    • Trait causes a combatant to have their HP be restored by a certain percentage of their maximum HP and/or have a Status Condition removed from a combatant. Ex: Withdrawal
  • Knock-out Prevented & Stat Stage Change Applied & Overexertion Penalty Prevented
    • Trait causes a combatant to not be knocked-out, have a Stat Stage Change to be applied to them, and prevents the Overexertion turn penalty from affecting them. Ex: Resilient
  • Knockback Damage Applied
    • Trait causes a combatant to take direct damage based on the amount of damage they did to another combatant. Ex: Mirroring
  • Overexertion Penalty Prevented & Stat Stage Change Applied
    • Triat causes a combatant to not have the Overexertion turn penalty from affecting them and have a Stat Stage Change to be applied to them. Ex:Tireless
  • STA Cost Decreased
    • Trait causes a combatant's Techniques to require less STA to be used. Ex: Efficient
  • STA Reduced and Stat Stage Change Applied
    • Trait causes a combatant to have their STA be reduced by a certain percentage of their maximum STA and to have a Stat Stage Change applied to them.
  • STA Restored
    • Trait causes a combatant to restore STA by a certain percentage of their maximum. Ex: Motivator
  • STA Restored & STA Reduced
    • Trait causes a combatant to restore STA by a certain percentage of their maximum and another combatant loses STA by a certain percentage of their maximum. Ex: Kinetic Transfer
  • Stat Stage Change Applied
    • Trait causes a combatant to have a Stat Stage Change applied to them. Ex: Fever Rush
  • Stat Stage Change Applied & Hold Decreased
    • Trait causes a combatant to have a Stat Stage Change applied to them and their Hold decreased. Ex: Brumation
  • Stat Stage Change Applied & HP Reduced
    • Trait causes a combatant to be given a Stat Stage Change and have their HP reduced by a percentage of their maximum. Ex: Half Full
  • Stat Stage Change Applied & STA Cost Decreased
    • Trait causes a combatant to be given a Stat Stage Change and causes their Techniques to require less STA to be used. Ex: Marathonist
  • Stat Stage Change Applied & Status Condition Applied
    • Trait causes a combatant to have a Stat Stage Change be applied to them and have a Status Condition be applied to them. Ex: Energy Reserves
  • Stat Stage Change Moved
    • Trait causes a combatant's currently held Stat Stage Changes be moved to another combatant. Ex: Going Away Gift
  • Stat Stage Change Prevented
    • Trait causes a combatant to not have a Stat Stage Change be applied to them. Ex: Short Circuit
  • Stats Increased
    • Trait causes a combatant to have their Stats increased by an additional percentage. Ex: Tardy Rush
  • Stats Used Swapped
    • Trait causes a combatant to have the stat used for Physical and Special Techniques to be swapped. Ex: Sensei
  • Status Condition Applied
    • Trait causes a combatant to have a Status Condition to be applied to them. Ex: Toxic Skin
  • Status Condition Applied & HP Reduced
    • Trait causes a combatant to have a Status Condition to be applied to them and causes a combatant to have their HP be reduced by a certain percentage of their maximum HP. Ex: Toxic Farewell
  • Status Condition Applied & Stat Stage Change Applied
    • Trait causes a combatant to have a Status Condition to be applied to them and causes a combatant to have a Stat Stage Change applied to them. Ex: Trance
  • Status Condition Applied / Status Condition Removed
    • Trait causes a combatant to have a Status Condition to be applied to them or have a Status Condition be removed. Ex: Meditation
  • Status Condition Applied Swapped
    • Trait causes a combatant to have a different Status Condition applied than one that would have been. Ex: Neurotoxins
  • Status Condition Duration Decreased
    • Trait causes an applied Status Condtion to a combatant to have a decreased duration by a certain number of turns. Ex: Resistant
  • Status Condition Duration Increased
    • Trait causes an applied Status Condtion to a combatant to have an increased duration by a certain number of turns. Ex: Receptive
  • Status Condition Effect Prevented
    • Trait causes a specific Status Condition to not have any effects on combatants. Ex: Infectious
  • Status Condition Prevented
    • Trait causes a combatant to not have a specific Status Condition applied to them. Ex: Mithridatism
  • Status Condition Prevented / Stat Stage Change Prevented
    • Trait causes a combatant to not have a specific Status Condition applied to them and/or causes a combatant to not have a Stat Stage Change be applied to them. Ex: Guardian

    • Trait causes a Technique to have its Targeting changed and the damage it would deal to be reduced. Ex: Spreader
  • Technique Effect Prevented
    • Trait causes a Technique to not have any effect on a combatant. Ex: Individualist
  • Technique Priority Increased
    • Trait causes a Technique to have its Priority to be increased. Ex: Gotta Go Fast
  • Technique Redirected
    • Trait causes a Technique to hit a different target than the one initally chosen. Ex: Water Custodian
  • Trait Disabled
    • Trait causes a combatant's Trait to not have any effect. Ex: Intimidator
  • Transformation
  • Turn Order Changed
    • Trait causes the order combatants would have gone in during a turn to be changed. Ex: Deceit Aura
  • Type Effectiveness Changed
  • Typing Changed
    • Trait causes a combatant to have their Typing changed. Ex: Attack<T>
  • Typing Changed & Stat Stage Change Applied
    • Trait causes a combatant to have their Typing changed and a combatant to have a Stat Stage Change applied to them. Ex: Adaptive
