Trivia

• Volarend was originally referred to by the community as "Zabirdo", a variation on "the bird".
• Volarend is a Breeder Tier Temtem by Soma Ghost, who pledged $6000 to the Kickstarter. The design process for Zephyruff and Volarend was originally shown on the "Presenting our first Breeder Temtem" Kickstarter update.
• According to the artbook, it was based off Archaeopteryx and was originally meant to have a phoenix-like "majestic" apparence, before settling on a "fierce" design.

Name Origin

• Volarend's name is derived from Volare (Fly or To Fly in Latin and Italian) and Rend.
  • Volarend was nicknamed by Manly Fairy in a community poll for the name. Despite Entu and Siotu being the leading names, Soma Ghost decided on Zephyruff and Volarend before the polling finished.
