Awkward fliers at best, Zephyruff rely on their speed and sharp claws to defend themselves. The sturdy, cloud-like tissue around the neck serves a double purpose, offering protection for the mother Temtem as well as a roosting point for Zephyruff chicks.

Trivia

• Zephyruff is a Breeder Tier Temtem by Soma Ghost, who pledged $6000 to the Kickstarter. The design process for Zephyruff and Volarend was originally shown on the "Presenting our first Breeder Temtem" Kickstarter update.
• According to the artbook, it was based off Archaeopteryx and was originally meant to have a phoenix-like "majestic" apparence, before settling on a "fierce" design.

Name Origin

• Zephyruff's name is derived from Zephyr and Ruff.
  • It phonetically sounds similar to Sefirot.
  • Zephyruff was nicknamed by Manly Fairy in a community poll for the name. Despite Entu and Siotu being the leading names, Soma Ghost decided on Zephyruff and Volarend before the polling finished.
