Story[edit]

Suzuki is having trouble relaxing and at the Onsenshima. They work for Nanto Labs with Miki and are currently working on a very promising, but very frustrating, project. Suzuki's team was very close to making a breakthrough in Temtem-capturing solutions, but one of their senior developers disappeared. Suzuki asks the player to speak to Miki on the top floor of Nanto Labs to help.

Miki is concerned that they'll be unable to complete the project with two thirds of their team gone. They ask you to help track down their lost college. Miki remembers that he was supposed to go on "a little weekend trip to the Pillars of Highabove," and suggests that you start your search there. To help you in your quest, Miki gives you Development Notes. Don't worry, they have copies.

The missing developer, Mitsuru, left Nanto Labs for fear or ending up like Dr. Hamijo. He is concerned that the player might be a Belsoto agent in disguise, but the player disproves that by answering questions about the Development Notes. Though Mitsuru refuses to come back, he does consent to jot down all he can remember about the process.

Miki is very excited to have the Dev Notes and is sure that Development and Testing can have a prototype by the end of the day and asks you to tell Suzuki the good news while she rushes production.

Suzuki is just as excited that they're getting a prototype... so excited that they just have to battle the player! Temtem Up! After the battle, Miki texts Suzuki that the prototype is complete! The player returns to Miki and receives the first ever TemCardX!

Trivia[edit]

  • The name of the quest is a reference to the cyberpunk manga and anime series Ghost in the Shell.
